본 연구는 온라인 취미공유 커뮤니티가 온라인 숙의의 가능성을 가지고 있다는 것을 전제로 하고 있다. 이렇나 전체의 바탕이 되는 것은 온라인 취미공유 커뮤니티의 구성원들이 가지는 공동체의식이다. 이 공동체 의식은 커뮤니티에 대한 소속감, 애착, 강한 결속력 등의 형태로 나타나기 때문에 온라인 숙의를 위한 잠재적인 가능성을 가지고 있다는 것이다 그리고 이러한 숙의의 잠재적 능력이 적절한 이슈를 만나면 공동체의식이 부족한 커뮤니티보다 특정 부분에서 토론의 양상이 더 뛰어날 수 있도 있다는 것을 살펴보고자 했다. 그래서 토론의 양상에 변화를 주는 이슈로 토론참가자들의 관여도가 높은 생활밀착형 이슈와 그렇지 않는 이슈로 나눠서 살펴보았다. 그리고 온라인 토론공간에서의 토론의 양상은 참여 및 상호작용성, 다양성, 합리성, 그리고 서민성의 측면에서 내용분석을 실시했다.\r\n그 결과 참여와 상호작용성에서는 조회수와 반응속도, 합리성에서는 객관적 근거의 개수와 인용의 수에서 온라인 취미공유 커뮤니티인 DVD 프라임이 일반적인 온라인 토론공간인 다음 아고라보다 더 나은 모습을 보였다. 이는 오라인 취미공유 커뮤니티의 공동체 의식이 만들어낼 수 있는 잠재적인 가능성이 토론참가자들과 관여도가 높은 이슈를 만나 이러한 잠재성을 활성화시킨 것이라고 볼 수 있다. 그리고 다양성에서는 게시글과 댓글의 태도에 있어서 다음 아고라보다 DVD 프라임에서 의견의 편향이 있었다. 하지만, 게시글보다는 댓글에서 주류 의견에 대한 반대의견을 존재하고 이것이 숙의적이고 교류적인 소통이 될 수 있견에 대한 반대의견을 존재하고 이것이 숙의적이고 교류적인 소통이 될 수 있다는 점에서 의의를 가진다. 마지막으로 시민성에서는 본 연구에서 제시한 분석틀에서는 유의미한 차이를 보이지 않았다. 하지만, 토론공간의 구분없이 이슈를 중심으로 재분석한 결과 토론참가자의 관여도가 높은 이슈에서만 시민성이 유의미한 차이를 보였다. 이는 행당이슈의 성격 때문에, 토론에 필요한 적절한 매너를 통해 여러 사람과 소통하고자 했다는 것으로 해석해볼 수 있을 것이다.
The purpose of current study was to examine how online habit community worked when they were talking about political issue. The major 'feature of the online community was'sense of online community'which was composed of group identity, attachment, strong bonding, etc. So it has potential possibility of active deliberation. This feature makes the online community deliberation better when they talking about self-involvement issue or life-related issue. With the this point of view, the study examined discussion appeared on online community whether it has sense of online\r\ncommunity(DVD prime) or not(Daum Agora) in four conditions of deliberation which we아re interactivity, opinion diversity, rationality, and civility. The result of content analysis showed online community which had sense of online community had better conditions in interactivity and rationality. These revealed online corrnunity's potential deliberation possibility appeared. The community's opinion diversity is homogeneous but existence of opposite opinion could help deliberation. The community's civility didn't have any significant differences with intermediate variable(life-related issue) but it is significant when examine with just issue difference. That meant participant try to talk other people because polite manner make easier to communicate with others.
