최근 1인가구의 급증 및 스마트홈 서비스를 활용한 주거 관리에 대한 관심 증가로 1인가구 중심의 스마트홈에 대한 명확한 가이드라인이 필요해졌다. 특히 1인가구의 경우 협소한 주거공간 내에서 복합적 생활방식을 가지기 때문에 스마트홈의 인터랙션 방법 중 공간적 측면에서의 분석이 더욱 필요한 실정이다. 이에 본 연구에서는 1인가구의 스마트홈 적용 방안을 공간 인터랙션적 측면에서 분석하여 1인가구의 주거 환경에 스마트홈을 적용하기 위한 표준화 방안에 대해 연구하고자 한다.
본 연구에서는 선행연구 고찰을 통해 1인가구의 거주환경과 스마트홈 연구 현황에 대해 분석한 뒤 스마트홈 공간 인터랙션의 정의와 특성을 구체화하였다. 다음으로 질적연구의 한 부분으로 설문조사와 심층 인터뷰를 통해 1인가구의 주거 행태 및 스마트홈 서비스에 대한 인식을 조사하였다. 설문조사와 심층 인터뷰는 서울시에 거주하는 청년층 1인가구를 대상으로 진행하였으며, 심층 인터뷰를 통해 주거 공간 사용 행태를 파악하여 1인가구를 위한 스마트홈 적용 방안에 대해 분석하였다. 마지막으로 연구를 통해 도출한 1인가구의 공간 인터랙션 특성을 적용하여 1인가구 스마트홈 가이드라인 서비스인 ‘스마트홈 가이드북’을 제안하였다.
‘스마트홈 가이드북’ 서비스는 모바일 앱 서비스의 인터랙션 방식을 적용하여 사용자의 능동적 참여가 가능한 가이드라인 서비스를 제시한다. 이는 보고서 형식의 가이드라인의 한계점을 극복하여 가이드라인의 기능적 활용도와 정보 업데이트의 효율성을 고려한 디자인적 방향을 제안하였다는 점에서 의미가 있다. 본 연구에서 살펴본 1인가구를 위한 스마트홈 공간 인터랙션 가이드라인을 통해, 향후 1인가구의 스마트 거주 공간 기획 시 활용되기를 기대한다.
Recently , a surge in single-person households and increased interest in housing management using smart home services have led to the need for clear guidelines for single-person household-oriented smart homes. In particular, single-person households requires more spatial analysis among smart home interaction methods because of their complex lifestyle living in a narrow residential space. Therefore, in this study, we will analyze the smart home application for single-person households in terms of spatial interaction and study about the standardization method for the smart homes application to single-person households' residential environment.
In this study, the definition and characteristics of smart home space interactions were embodied after analyzing the living environment and smart home research status of single-person households through prior research consideration. Next, a survey and in-depth interview were conducted as part of the qualitative research to investigate the housing behavior of single-person households and their perception of smart home services. The survey and in-depth interviews were conducted on one-person households in Seoul, and in-depth interviews were conducted to identify the behavior of using residential spaces and analyze the application of smart homes for one-person households. Finally, we propose 'Smart Home Guidebook', a one-person household smart home guideline service, by applying the spatial interaction characteristics of one-person households derived from the study.
The "Smart Home Guidebook" service presents a guideline service that allows users to actively participate by applying the interaction method of mobile app services. This is meaningful in that we overcome the limitations of the guidelines in the form of reports and propose a design direction that takes into account the functional utilization of the guidelines and the efficiency of information updates. Through the Smart Home Space Interaction Guidelines for Single-person households as we looked at in this study, we expect them to be used in planning smart living spaces for single-person households in the future.
