배속문화, 속도, 쇼트폼, 가속화, 파편화, 비디오, 오디오
효율을 추구하고 시간을 절약해서 더 많은 정보를 얻기 위한 현대 사람들로 인해 가속화된 사회가 형성되었다. 본 연구자는 영상 플랫폼에서 흔히 접할 수 있는 재생속도 기능은 이러한 가속화된 사회의 원인이자 결과라고 생각한다. 사람들이 재생속도 기능을 사용해서 영상 콘텐츠를 빠르게 보는 행위로 인해 형성된 문화는 본 논문에서 다루는 가장 핵심내용인 배속문화이다.
본 논문은 배속문화가 형성된 사회적 원인으로 경제적 측면에서의 가속도주의, 정보량만 추구하는 사회 환경, 파편화 이론을 통한 시간 사용에 대한 또 다른 접근 방식에 있음을 탐구했다. 개인적 원인을 놓고 보면 생각이 뇌를 거칠 때 사용되는 두 가지 시스템, 인간은 움직임과 속도가 가져다주는 쾌감을 선호하는 경향이 있다는 것에 대해 서로 연구했다. 그 결과 배속 시청은 다른 속도로 조절할 때 자막과 오디오가 사람들의 인지에 영향을 미치며, 음악과 쇼트폼의 상호작용으로 인한 음악 창작의 위기, 음악적 속성의 소멸 등도 가져오고 있음을 토론했다. 그리고 비디오가 주는 영향 측면에서 배속문화 때문에 매체 산업이 겪는 어려운 처지，새로운 매체 콘텐츠의 흥행, 사람들의 수면 시간이 짧아지고 있는 현황, 전쟁과 소비주의의 가속화 등을 탐구했다.
논문의 구성은 다음과 같다. 제2장에서 배속문화의 형성 역사, 정의와 특징을 정리했다. 제3장에서 사회적 및 개인적 두 가지 방향으로 사람들이 배속으로 시청하는 원인을 분석했다. 제4장에서 배속시청으로 생긴 영향은 크게 오디오과 비디오 두 가지 파트로 나눠서 연구했다. 제5장에서 배속문화의 대한 우려점과 사회적 가속에 대한 이론과 본 연구자의 견해를 요약했다.
The modern accelerated society is based on the pursuit of obtaining more information, saving time and higher levels of efficiency. This researcher came to the conclusion that the playback speed function commonly encountered in video platforms is the cause and effect of this accelerated society. The focus of the thesis is the culture formed by the act of people quickly viewing video content using the playback speed function, and became a part of Double-Speed Viewing Culture.?
In order to introduce briefly the subject matter to be studied in this paper, the social causes of the culture of Double-Speed are explored in terms of economic acceleration, a social environment that only pursues information, and another approach to time use through fragmentation theory. In terms of individual causes, the author studies the two systems when thoughts run through the brain, and that humans tend to prefer the pleasure of movement and speed. The discussed effects of double-speed viewing include the effect of audio, the effect of subtitles and audio on people's perception when adjusted at different speeds, the crisis of music creation due to the interaction of music and short form, and the disappearance of musical properties. In addition, in terms of the impact of video, the author explores the difficult situation of the media industry is facing due to the culture of double-speed viewing, the success of new media content, the current situation where people's sleep time is getting shorter, and the acceleration of war and consumerism.?
The composition of the thesis is as follows. Chapter 2 summarizes the history, definition, and characteristics of the formation of the Double-Speed Viewing Culture. In Chapter 3, the author analyzes the causes of people watching at double speed in both social and personal directions. In Chapter 4, the effect of double-speed viewing is studied by dividing it into two parts, audio and video. Chapter 5 summarizes the concerns of the double-speed viewing culture and the views of this researcher.
