Join "Trendy Media" -- the first course to analyze social media, platforms and apps and its impact and intersection with legacy media such as film, animation and television. Since the 2020s, our mediascape has radically changed: From streamers Wavve and Netflix creating new television and film in Korea to the first live-streamed film shot in London to China's answer to Instagram with Xiaohongshu, this class takes this popular media and more to analyzes its cultural, social, technological impacts across the globe.
